The new path on the left-hand side of the first hole was completed on the 20th July.
The path does not really follow the original driveway but is a reminder of how the course and clubhouse have changed over the years.
The photograph below was taken in the late 1920s and shows the first hole with driveway where there is now fairway. The photographer was near the first green looking back towards the clubhouse, at that time half the size before the clubhouse extension in 1977.
